Since 2003: APC Tsumeb

The success of the APC in Oshikuku and Omagalanga has slowly been recognised in other areas of Namibia. The mayor of Tsumeb, an old mining town near the world-famous Etosha Park, has provided a large plot of land with the request to establish an APC for street children and unemployed young people.

In the middle of 2004 Lis HIdber started to work with music and painting outdoors. Till the end of the year the construction work for the first eight huts was done by many skilled helpers, including foreign music teachers. In the beginning of 2005 the eight huts including the teacher's house were opened, seven more were under construction. The stage was completed in June 2005 and equipped with lighting towards the end of the year.
